Turkey’s Culture and Tourism Ministry held a “Turkish Day” reception Friday evening at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival, one of the most prestigious events in the business.
The event has been hosted at Majestic Beach, the luxury location for festival stars, international cinema, art, fashion, tourism, media and business world.
Revna Demirören, the wife of Demirören Holding’s board deputy chairman Yıldırım Demirören, Bosphorus Film Festival Chairman of Ogün Şanlıel, columnist for Sabah newspaper and ATV’ Ankara representative Şebnem Bursa, Harper’s Bazaar Editor-in-Chief Gülen, Justine D’Angelo Managing Editor for Beyond the Magazine as well as actresses and models Wilma Elles and Nicole Macchi have been invited to the event.
London-based Turkish designer Zeynep Kartal presented her collection made using sustainable woven fabric.

Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy underlined that Turkey is a center of attraction for the film industry and invited its representatives to the country to make films and take holidays.
Many cinema and TV series projects that will be announced at Cannes, the heart of world cinema, are expected to be shot in Turkey with the new incentives on offer.
